Almost all of my current LEGO projects are related to trains. I have a pages for my current projects; a working train round house, with a separate page for the turntable itself.
This page is dedicated to the documentation of custom rolling stock I've built. There are other pages for my engines, work trains, and the Freight Container Car.
Here on the West Coast of the U.S. (and probably across North America), the work trains are referred to as 'Maintenance Of Way Cars', or simply 'Way Cars'. This page is dedicated to images of my collection of Way Cars. There are other pages for my engines, wagons, and the Freight Container Car.
My current collection of LEGO work train
models includes;

Bates Train Depot Train Kit.)
My own creations

Building on past efforts
Besides the existing LEGO work trains, there are a number of models in the Town series that fit in nicely with the construction and repair themes, such as skip-loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, and more. I've collected a few of these, as well as some of the specialty parts kits from LEGO Shop at Home, and on my travels to Europe.
I've taken a few pictures of my work trains with the 'yellow equipment' from town, building up the new train yard. I call these images This Site Under Construction.
