The Voting periods is one week long, prior to the meeting, and will start on 14 January 2012. Voting for Club Elected Officers occurs only at Club Annual Meetings of alternate years, as described in Section 5.01 Officers and Term of Office, or as needed to fill a vacancy. Individual Club members have the right to a maximum of one ballot per club office or issue, per vote. Family members have the right to a total of two ballots per family per office or issue per vote, and may be split as two separate whole votes for two candidates for an office. Only whole votes are allowed; partial votes are not allowed and will be disqualified. Members shall cast ballots either via email or in person at the applicable Meeting, 14 January 2012. Ballots shall be electronically mailed to all members no later than two weeks prior to the affected meeting. Members have until 24 hours prior to the meeting to return their completed ballots via electronic means. Physical ballots shall be provided for members wishing to cast a ballot in person, and supersede any prior web-based ballots cast by members. All electronic and physical ballots shall be counted, and the results announced by the end of the meeting. Ballots will be distributed, collected and processed by the Election Judge. The Election Judge shall issue the ballots against a list of current members, and check in completed ballots against the same list. Family members will get two standard ballots. MEMBERS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE All Members in good standing as of the commencement of the voting period shall be eligible to cast ballots in all club votes, regardless of the purpose of the vote. and Member dues are based on a calendar year cycle, due in full at or before the first club meeting of the year, in advance for that year. This means your dues must be current/paid for 2012 to vote in the election. You can pay at Dave's if not before.
