This is about the Bricks by the Bay LEGO convention, to be held April 9-11
in Fremont. See www.bricksbythebay.com for more information.
The early bird discount ($5 off) expires on Tuesday, February 23. Hurry and
sign up now if you want to attend the full convention!

We will be publishing a list of who's signed up so far on Tuesday. As of
this writing, we're up to 93 people, from as far away as St Petersburg
Russia, and the Phillippines! Lots of folks are coming up from Southern
California and down from the Pacific Northwest.
We're only ordering enough bricks for 200 engraved badges, so hurry up and
get yours reserved soon! After we hit 200, you'll still be able to sign up,
but you'll get a paper badge instead. And for those of you who can't make
up your minds until the last moment, you'll be able to get in at the door,
but the price will be going up to $60 per person.
If you're not sure whether you want to stay at the hotel, please bear in
mind that we are paying for the convention space by promising the hotel a
certain number of room-nights reserved. If we don't make our numbers on the
hotel rooms we'll have to pay a lot of money to make up for the difference.
So please help out by staying in the hotel. If you stay up to a week before
and after the event, those nights count too! Just be sure to mention Bricks
by the Bay when placing your reservation for the $89 rate and free wifi in
your room.
