Hi,

Yesterday a videographer from Channel 26, Chinese TV on the peninsula,
shot some video of the MoAH exhibit. He said it was announced and on
their website earlier last week, maybe on Thursday, and the tape would
be on last nite sometime. http://www.ktsf.com/cn/things/index.html
I don't know if it aired or not.

This channel could perhaps explain at least part of the large Friday
attendance, and general increase in Asian visitors observed. I also
noticed a lot of very little kids, say 5 and under, over the weekend.

The exhibit was packed again Sat and Sun. The line was out MoAH's front
door yesterday afternoon. We closed at 3:30 and everyone was gone a few
minutes after 4. Club staff yesterday was: Me, Kristen, Bruce, and
Zonker all day, and Nathan and Tina most of the day. Thanks!

We tried to ask vistors how they learned about the show. Common answers
to this unscientific survey, roughly in order of decreasing frequency,
were:
Yahoo Upcoming, SF Gate, Las Madras Mother's group "the email went
viral" there apparently, KCBS Radio, "on the internet", SJ Merc Eye
section, only one reply for BAP, and none for KTVU.
Also I randomly talked with a guy who's in marketing for Caltrain. He
said they put it in their Dec. Events flyer. 20,000 of them they handout
on trains! I also coincidentally earlier spoke with folks who took the
train down from SF to see it.

I would expect that this coming Friday will be more normal, with larger
crowds again for closing weekend.

and shot some video, including an interview with Loren.  Great job,
Loren!
