[BayLUG-Announce] East Bay Meeting At Last!! San Leandro, Sat. Sept. 6

Hi, everyone...

Through the efforts of Johannes van Galen, we now have a venue to meet here
in the east bay! But he needs to know how many people are coming so he can
set up the proper number of tables. PLEASE RSVP to him at joam777 @yahoo

We will have our first San Leandro meeting at his church on Saturday Sept.
6, 2008 from 10 am - 3 pm

We will have a contest - I will be supplying the prizes, so I get to decide
the theme: School. Any kind of school, even fish.
You get to vote on the winners in the usual categories: 6 & under, 6 - 12,
and over 12.

It will take place at:

Bay Area Family Church
2305 Washington Blvd
San Leandro 94577

This is between San Leandro Blvd & Marina Blvd on Washington. It is a large
tan building.

>From 880, take the Marina Blvd EAST exit and continue straight up to San
Leandro Blvd. Turn right; the church will be about 2 blocks along on your
right.

>From 580, take the Estudillo Ave exit,and head west (away from the hills)
until you reach the E.14th / Washington Blvd.
intersection. Turn left onto Washington (make sure you don't turn onto e.
14th by mistake) and continue for about 3/4 mile. The church will be on your
right.

If you do get onto E. 14th, just continue until you reach San Leandro Blvd
and turn right to backtrack to Washington. Turn right on Washington, the
church will be on your left.
