Today, Saturday April 12, the Bay Area LEGO Users Group (BayLUG) will be
participating in Yuri's Night, a celebration of 50 years of space travel
since the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin, made his historic flight in
1958. As it's also the 50th year of the LEGO Brick, and LEGO has been the
source of so much creative inspiration for so many, it's only fitting that
LEGO should be involved.

We will have a small display booth, with a number of models by our members
available for viewing, and a play area for you to get down on your hands and
knees and create something.

The event runs from 2pm-2am at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Federal
Airfield, in Sunnyvale. Besides the LEGO display, there will be aerial
demonstrations, aircraft on static display, live music, and creative
exhibits of all stripes - sort of a cross between an air show and a mini
Maker Faire (which, by the way, is less than a month away on May 3-4, and
we'll be there too!) Minors under 18 are welcome from 2pm to sunset.
