For Beginners, maybe a few useful links?

LUGNET™, the LEGO® Users Group Network (http://www.lugnet.com), was founded by Todd Lehman, as an umbrella organization/website, to help folks find LEGO® clubs near them. LUGNET™ is also home to a few other projects of Todd, and his wife Suzanne Rich:

LUGNET™ is also home to a number of other cool projects, of interest to LEGO® users all over the world:

The PAUSE™ reference pages have been a great resource for collectors for a few years now. Started (and maintained) by Lou Zucaro, the site has listings for most of the LEGO® sets made since the '70s, with pictures from boxes, catalogs, or instruction covers for most of them! Recent additions include statistics, such as years the sets were produced, number of pieces, and retail cost, as well as links to the KL.NET instructions repository, when instructions exist there for that set. Many web pages now sport a small box where you can enter a set number, and get the information for that set from the PAUSE™ Reference Site. (http://www.lugnet.com/pause)

KL.NET, July changes include picture index with thumbnails! If you are looking for old kits to collect and build, Good Luck! Watch the auctions, and check garage sales and flea markets! On the other hand, if you just want to *build* the older models, chances are very goods that you can find the instructions for those older models *on-line* at the KL.NET scans repository!

Train pages on BayLUG

There are two new pages to inaugurate the BayLUG Train directory.

http://baylug.org/train/ will take you to the train links page. This is a collection, arranged by grouping links together by Train Clubs, regional groups, and individual homepages, as well as useful links for train folks.

http://baylug.org/train/legotrains.html is a visual listing of the various train sets that LEGO® has produced, with links to the PAUSE™ set reference pages for each model.
