11th Annual “Living LEGO-cy” Holiday LEGO Show OPENS!

December 9, 2014
By Mark Benz

As you may know, every year for the past 11th Holiday Seasons the Museum of American Heritage in Palo Alto hosts BayLUG/LTC's Holiday LEGO Show, the “Living LEGO-cy.” As usual, the opening was a Party for the Museum's members, thanking them for their support throughout the year.

The show opens to the public on Friday 12 December, and is open every Friday through Sunday until the 18th of January. Many members' fabulous creations are on display, from Spaceships and Dragons, to Trains and Skyscrapers! Check it out, and bring your friends and relatives.

There are also many opportunities to help staff the show, particularly right after Christmas. Please consider signing up on the wiki to help out for a few hours, and win some raffle tickets. Here's a sample of the great things to see this year at the show:

Pleasanton Train Show Success

November 24, 2014
By Bill Ward

Thank you to all the people who came to the Pleasanton train show! We had a great turnout, and one of the biggest layouts we've done in a while - 27.5 by 20 feet, 5 feet deep all the way around. We had several people coming to their first train show, and some great new MOCs. I hope that every train show goes this well and we can view this as the beginning of a new era for BayLTC.
